Alumni of department

During its existence, the department has released more than 2,000 specialists to the mining industry of Ukraine, CIS countries and abroad. They work in Russia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Bulgaria, Angola, Jordan, Canada, and so on.

In Ukraine, many of them occupy the senior positions at the mining industry - J.D. Baranov, V.G. Lisenko, V.D. Shurigin (Volnogorskiy Mining and Metallurgical Combine), N.A. Golovach (Irshanskiy MPC), A.V. Ponomarev (Dokuchaevsky flux-dolomite combine), G.G.Hachhardzhi, V.B. Pyatigorets (JSC “Mineral”), E.V. Tsimarman, V.P. Chernyakov (JSC “Vesco”), V.O. Malook (JSC “Energougl”), Trigub VS (State enterprise "Burugol"), Malook OV (Concern Yuzhruda), V.S. Prokopenko (JSC “Tehnovzryv”), in the quarries for the extraction of nonmetallic minerals - A.O. Savchenko, V.A. Bereschuk, M.I. Nestorenko, M.O. Pasichnyk and others.

About 200 postgraduates defended their dissertations, 15 of them became doctors and professors, both in Ukraine and in Kazakhstan, Russia, Jordan and other states.
